Vickie Stafford Ashby, of Roanoke, age 72, went to be with the Lord on, Thursday, January 13, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry David Ashby; son, James David Ashby; daughter in law, Catherine Ashby; mother, Doris Haupt; brother, Rodney Rucker; brother in law, Danny Webster.
Vickie is survived by her sister, Kathy Webster; special cousin, Jeff Hyler (Jim); granddaughter, Whitney Mitchell (Will); great grandchildren; Kalib Hale, Kaylee Hale, Summer Mitchell; Katie Overstreet (who she considered a granddaughter); special nephew Mark Ashby and friend Leslie.
A special thank you to the staff of Good Samaritan for taking great care and their kindness.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
