Patty Louise Franklin

Patty Louise Franklin, 80, of Appomattox, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, August 1 ,2022 at her residence. She was the wife of Roger Dale Franklin, Sr. for 59 years.
Born in Halifax County, Va., on October 26, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Willie R. Crowder and Grovene Smith Crowder. She was a longtime member of Hollywood Baptist Church. Louise retired as a seamstress for Appomattox Garment Factory and then as an assistant manager for Super 10.
She is survived by three children, Michael Franklin and wife, Hope, Roger Franklin and wife, Penny, and Donna Elder all of Appomattox; nine grandchildren, Andrew Oliver and wife, Kaleb, Cliff Oliver, Jessica Jones, Wesley McCormick, Michael Franklin, Jr., Ronnie Franklin, Diana Franklin, Chasidy Tappen and husband, Bobby, and Crystal Rousseau; 15 great-grandchildren, including Cain, Leila, and Mia Franklin; and two sisters, Peggy C. Lotts and Joan C. Jones of Appomattox.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Garrett.
A graveside service will be held 11 am, Thursday, August 4, 2022, at Hollywood Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Bob Phillips III officiating.
