Thomas Everett Moore

Thomas Everett Moore, 85, of Appomattox, died Wednesday, August 17, 2022. He was the husband of the late Nancy Reynolds Moore.

Born in Stapleton, July 12, 1937, he was a son of the late Maggie Litchford and Charlie Moore. Thomas was a member of the Woodmen of the World.

He is survived by one daughter, Teresa Watson of Madison Heights; “son he never had” Jonathan Briggs and Wesleigh Kimlick of Charlotte Court House; stepson, David Trent of Lynchburg; a brother, Floyd Moore of Amherst; a sister, Ivan Harless of Lynchburg; two granddaughters, Pebble Watson and Gabrielle Trent; one grandson, Thomas Trent; and a special friend, Allen Cash.

He was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters, and one grandson, Zachary Trent.

A graveside service will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, August 20, 2022, in the Moore Family Cemetery with Rev. John Flood officiating.

The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 p.m., Friday, August 19, 2022, at Robinson Funeral Home.
