Edward Lamont Foster

Edward Lamont Foster, Sr., 47, of Axton, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2022, at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital. He was born November 5, 1974 in Danville, Virginia, to Edward Leaarn Foster and Geneva Cousin Foster.

Edward graduated from Tunstall High School in 1992, and proudly served his country in the United States Army. He had enjoyed riding and working on motorcycles and hotrods since he was 3 years old. He was a disabled veteran.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Keyona Murphy (Patrick); son, Edward Lamont Foster, Jr.; sister, Shavon Cook (Neal); and grandchildren, Preston Murphy, Patrick Murphy III, and Paisley Murphy.

The funeral will be Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 1:30 PM at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 13602 Martinsville Highway, Cascade, Virginia. Visitation will be at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Cousin Family Cemetery, Riley Farm Road, Axton, Virginia. A Floating Visitation will be Friday, September 9, 2022, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel.
