Douglas Miller Collins

Douglas Miller Collins, 70 of Narrows, VA departed this life August 15, 2022 in the care of his family.
Born in Giles County on November 27, 1951, he was a son of the late Miller and Lucille Snidow Collins.
Douglas was retired from Radford Arsenal. His primary love was to spend time with his family. In his
spare time, he enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, and attending Mardi Gras Casino and Resort in West
Virginia.
In addition to his parents, Douglas is preceded in death by his brothers, Wayne and Donald Collins;
brothers-in-law, James Peck, and Scott Osborne; and a sister-in-law, Doretta Riddle Collins.
Left to cherish his memory to their hearts are his wife, Mary Martin Collins of 52 years; daughter, Tina
Blaker (Lee) of Narrows, VA; grandchildren, Cole Blaker, Chase Blaker, Chad Blaker, and Cristin Blaker;
sisters, Bonnie Osborne of West Virginia, Betty Peck of Pearisburg, Diane Riggs (Willis) of Pembroke;
sister-in-law, Janice Collins of Elliston; sister-in-law, Nellie Kelley; brother-in-law, Gene Kelley; and many
nephews, nieces, and friends.
A funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the Kendall Funeral
Home Chapel with Pastor Eddie Kendall officiating. Funeral Services will conclude in Birchlawn Burial
Park. Family will receive friends in the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, August 18, 2022 from
