Margaret Litchford Lerner of Rustburg, Virginia

Margaret Anne Litchford Lerner, 58, of Rustburg, entered Heaven on Tuesday, September 20, 2022. She was the loving wife of Tony Lerner.

Born in Lynchburg, April 7, 1964, she was a daughter of the late James P. Litchford and Margery Bean Litchford.  Margaret worked for the Central Virginia Federal Credit Union for over 40 years.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son Kyle Lerner and wife, Tabitha; two grandsons, “JR” and William Lerner all of Rustburg; one brother, John Litchford and wife, Jane of Concord; one sister, Phyllis Hudson and husband, Steve of Appomattox; mother-in-law, Doris Lerner of Rustburg; numerous nieces and nephews including, John Litchford and James Litchford both of Concord, Nicole Hudson Hamlett and Michelle Hudson both of Appomattox; a sister-in-law, Amorette Lerner of Lynchburg; two brothers-in-law, Harold Lerner of Rustburg and Alan Lerner of Jacksonville, FL.

She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Paul Lerner.

The family will receive friends at the residence Friday, September 23, 2022.
