Gary G. Privette

Gary G. Privette, 63, of Bassett passed away on September 22, 2022, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born in Martinsville on December 6, 1958 the son of the late James Privette and the late Mary Frances Privette. He was also preceded in death by a sister Rebecca Woods.

Gary worked at Master Brand Cabinets, American Standard, Bassett Walker and was a construction worker.

Surviving is his loving wife Gloria J. Privette, step – daughter; Melissa Potter (Kevin) sons; Sonny Privette (Catherine) and Cody Privette, daughter; Brittany Knight (Devin), grandchildren; Brianna, Devyn, Zachary, Evie, Hayden, Addison, Olivia, Haley and Isabella. Also surviving are sisters; Cathy Hylton and Wendy Cassady, brother; J.D. Privette.

The visitation will be Tuesday, September 27, 2022 from 12 – 1 in the chapel of Bassett Funeral Service with funeral services to follow at 1:00 PM with Pastor Curtis Ashley officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Burial Park. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the family to help with hospital expenses.
