Lonnie Dwayne Eanes, 53, of Martinsville, passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2022, at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. He was born in Martinsville on April 1, 1969, to the late Wayne Eanes and Betty Ann Merriman Eanes. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Renae Eanes Smith; paternal grandparents, Earl & Bailey Eanes and maternal grandparents, Colonel & Pearl Merriman.
In addition to his mother, Lonnie is survived by his uncles, Benny Merriman (Beatrice) and Ray Merriman; aunts, Kay Ratcliff (Eddie) and Frances Merriman.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Roselawn Burial Park in Martinsville with Pastor Jason Callahan officiating.
