Kenneth Delane Gordon

Kenneth Delane Gordon, Jr., 55, of Bassett, passed away Friday, December 30, 2022, in Sovah Health - Martinsville. He was born on February 1, 1967, the son of the late Kenneth Delane Gordon, Sr. and the late Mattie Jane Burkett Collins.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sandy Wood Bush and brother, Kenneth Wayne Wood.
Kenneth was an avid motorcycle rider and was involved with many benefit rides for the community.  Philpott Lake was a home away from home, where he loved camping and fishing with his family. 
Kenneth is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Michah Naomi Gordon; son, Cameron Brent Gordon; sister, Michelle Rogers & husband Steve; nephews & niece, Darrell & Chris Spencer, Kim Bouton and Justin & Josh Rogers; great-nephews, Elijah Spencer & Trevor Bouton; great-niece, Sunshine Spencer and a brotherhood of close friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 6, 2022, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM in the Bassett Funeral Service Chapel where a celebration of life service will follow at 7:00 PM.
