Frances Diane Francis

Mrs. Diane Francis, age 87 of Rocky Mount, VA passed away in the morning on Sunday, April 16, 2023 at her residence.

Diane Francis known to most as Momdiane or MimiAnn was born November 25, 1935 in Arcadia Florida. She is the daughter of late Peter Murray and Bessie Lee Murray.

MomDiane is preceded in death by her three sisters, Pasty, Linda, and Luenell, as well has her son Jerry Revels III.

MomDiane was a devoted member and believer of the Christian science church. MomDiane enjoyed family time and going to mah-jongg with her mah-jongg crew every Tuesday.

Momdiane is survived by her four daughters Carrie, Connie, Joy, and Sharon. Diane also leaves behind 12 grand children, Shannon, Teri, Macy, Jerry, Robert, Jacque, Stephanie, Calvin, Caleb, Grace, Fiona and Sophie. In addition to her 12 grandchildren, MimiAnn had 20 great grandchildren, Hunter, Alex, Noah, Gian-Carlos, Jose, Branson, Brooklyn, Bristol, Bryce, Tru, Silas, Charlotte, Kimberly, Brittany Dezerrae, Cody, Jeffrey, Colin, Caroline and Valerie, she was expecting the arrival of her 1st great great grandson Atlas in the coming days. Momdiane also had too many grand and great grand fur babies to mention.

MimiAnn was an extraordinary woman who worked for many years as a nurse in the Christian Science community. She was a loving mother and devoted grandmother, she will be missed by many.

Services will be private with all of her family. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
