Jeffrey Wade Boothe

Jeffrey Wade Boothe 59, of Goodview, VA was born on June 8, 1963 and passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 17, 2023.He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Beatrice Boothe and his in-laws, J.D. and Faye Martin. Jeff is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Jeanne Martin Boothe. His children, Jadie and Anne Boothe, and Jennifer and Scott Bowers. Three grand-children that he loved more than anything, Kaylee Bowers, Billy Boothe, and Heidi Boothe. His brother and sister-in-law, Stacey and Karen Boothe. His sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Jeff Smith; His brother-in-laws Jimmy Martin and Eric Martin; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Also surviving are his friends; Dar, Chris, Randy, Janet, Gary, Jerry, Robert, Charlie, Willie, and the list goes on. Jeff also leaves behind his favorite “Step-Wife,” Jean Green. Jeff spent 9 years at Coca-Cola and 31 years at Norfolk Southern where he made long-lasting friendships, which he considered family. A gathering of friends will be held at Lotz Funeral Home on Sunday, April 23, 2023 from 2 pm – 4 pm.In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Stewartsville-Chamblissburg Fire and Rescue Squad.Jeff’s family would like extend many thanks to the Bedford County Law Enforcement and Bedford County Fire and Rescue.
