David France

Mr. Cecil David France, age 60, of Mount Airy, passed away on Tuesday evening May 30, 2023. He was born in Guilford County on January 15, 1963, the only child of the late Cecil D. France and Goldie Hassell King France. He loved talking to family and friends and really anybody, he had never meet a stranger. David liked anything Carolina Tarheels and loved dogs, especially Buddy and JJ (his yellow labs). He loved the Andy Griffith show and going to the Mayberry Days Parade in Mount Airy. David is survived by several aunts and uncles, cousins, and many other family and friends. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by a special aunt and uncle, Charles and Doris Vernon. Funeral services will be held in the Moody Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday June 10, 2023, at 11:00AM. Burial will follow in the Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Saturday at the funeral home from 9:30AM until 11:00AM. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
