Thomas Arthur Talbott

Thomas Arthur Talbott, Jr., age 81 of Rocky Mount died Friday, May 26, 2023. He was born on May 13, 1942 and was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Custer Talbott; father, Thomas A. Talbott, Sr.; mother, Thelma Jones Talbott; brothers, Glen Talbott, Bobby Talbott, Sr. and Michael Talbott; and sister, Sharon Spain. Mr. Talbott was a United States Army Veteran and retired from the VA Medical Center. Surviving are his daughter, Teresa Talbott Benjamin; son-in-law, Ian K. Benjamin; grandson, Ewan Thomas Benjamin; granddaughter, Mia Louise Benjamin; sisters, Brenda Griffin and Darlene Zamora; and brothers, Steve “Buck” Talbott and Donald Talbott. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 11 a.m. Friday, June 16, 2023. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park.
