Taft Randall

Taft Randall, 89, of Bassett, Virginia passed away Saturday, June 3, 2023. He was born February 7, 1934, in Watauga County, North Carolina, to the late Wesley Randall and Ammie Triplett Randall.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Thelma Triplett Miller, Eula Randall Watson, and Reathy Randall Cox; brothers, Buster Triplett, Carl Triplett, Ernest Triplett, Vilas Triplett, Grady Randall, and Odell Randall.Taft was a lifetime member of Mount Hermon Church of the Brethren. He was employed by Fieldcrest Mills for many years and enjoyed spending his free time in the garden and hunting.He is survived by his wife, Alma Ingram Randall; daughters, Sue Washburn (Mike), and Carole Hussey; sons, Ricky Randall (Ronnie), and Dean Randall (Pam); seven grandchildren, Jacob Jones (Tiffany), Kelly Randall, Kurt Randall (Kathy Ann), Cara Randall (Joe), Olivia Randall (Jabob), Benjamin Hussey, and Cameron Hussey; six great grandchildren, Laila Randall, Eve Randall, Presley Randall, Layla Jones, Jolene Jones and Leya Williams.Services will be held at a later date.Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
