Rebecca "Ann" Southern

Rebecca Ann Southern, age 59 of Fairlawn passed away Monday, June 12, 2023, at the Lewis-Gale Hospital, Pulaski. Born September 4, 1963, she was the daughter of Myrtle Rebecca Glover and the late Roy Tabour.

Rebecca is proceeded in death by her son, Ricky Lee Simpkins, Jr., her father, Roy Tabour, and grandparents, Herman Woodson Smith and Alice Lucy Lee Smith.

Husband- Alfred “Ed” Southern of Fairlawn, VA

Son– Arley Jason “AJ” Simpkins of Oklahoma City, OK

Mother and Stepfather– Ron & Myrtle Rebecca Glover of Galax, VA

Brothers– Roy Lee Tabour & wife of Arkansas, Bobby Glover & wife of Louisiana, Ronald Wayne Glover & wife of Louisiana

Aunt– Sandra Dawn Blevins of Galax, VA

Memorial Services will be held2:00 PM – June 21, 2023at Bower Funeral Home-Chapel in Pulaski, VA with Pastor Bobby Ward officiating. The family will receive friends before service time at the Funeral Home.
