Lisa Anne Sarver
LISA ANNE SARVER, 58, of Bland, VA, went to be with the Lord she loved and served on Tuesday, June 21, 2023. She was born June 4, 1965 the daughter of Doug Sarver & Beverly Ball Taylor.
Lisa was a devout Christian who loved God most of all, first and always. She was a member of MapleView Church of Christ and enjoyed listening to their Praise Band. She enjoyed all Contemporary Christian Music. She loved all children and was a child caregiver for over 20 years. She loved her dogs, travelling, and loved the beach. She loved flowers, especially Gerber daisies. She was a dedicated friend who was filled with encouragement and was there through all the laughs and tears. She was a special soul who impacted many lives. She will be greatly missed by those who loved her.
Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Doug Sarver.
Left to cherish her memory are her mother & step-father, Beverly & Walter (“Buddy”) Taylor; her children, Lindsey, Joseph and Ray; her sister & brother-in-law, Vicki & David Tyree; her brother & sister-in-law, Michael & Sarah Sarver; her step-mother, Linda Sarver; many nieces, nephews and very special friends, too many to list; and her special pet companions, “Jack” and “Zoey.”
A celebration of Lisa’s life is planned for Monday, June 26, 2023 at 6:30 P.M. at MapleView Church of Christ, 194 Robins Rest Rd., Bluefield, WV, 24701 with Pastor Justin May officiating. Guests will be encouraged to share short, sweet memories of Lisa during the service. Immediately following the service, a reception will follow in the church gymnasium, where her children will receive friends and look forward to hearing more memories. Per Lisa’s wishes, she will be cremated and laid to rest privately.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made in Lisa’s honor to Christian Acres, 1351 Evangelism Rd., Bluefield, WV, 24701. Please note in honor of Lisa Sarver in memo line.
