Christopher Cook

Christopher David Cook, age 43 of 445 Grande Road, Covington, Virginia died Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at his residence.

Christopher was born May 4, 1980 in Alleghany County, Virginia to David Doane Cook and the late Laurie Slayton Malone. He was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and had many friends who loved him dearly.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his faithful dog, “Mugs”.

He is survived by his father, David Cook of Covington; a half-sister, Kelly D. Malone; grandmother, Kay Simmons and maternal grandparents, Charles and Joann Slayton; and a number of Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

In keeping with his wishes, his body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
