Judy Amos Hodges

Judy Carol Amos Hodges, 67, of Ridgeway, Virginia, passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at her residence. She was born July 17, 1955, in Martinsville, to the late Oakley Amos and Frances Conner Amos.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Roger Amos, Ronald Amos and Bobby Amos.Judy attended Redemption Point Church, and had been employed in the textile industry. She enjoyed crocheting, cross stitching, word searches, reading her Bible, watching television, spending time with her beloved family, and last but certainly not least, being around her pets which she loved dearly.She is survived by her former spouse, John M. Hodges; daughter, Rebecca Wagoner (Tony); son, Jonathan “Ted” Hodges; sister, Joyce Roark; brother, Donald Amos; her three grandchildren, Isabella, Ivy, and Samantha; and several nieces and nephews.The Memorial Service will be Sunday, July 9, 2023, at 4:00 PM, at Redemption Point Church, 325 N. 2nd Avenue, Mayodan, NC.
