Zachary Joseph “Zach” Weaver

Zachary Joseph “Zach” Weaver, age 28, of Eagle Rock, passed away suddenly Saturday, July 15, 2023 at Lewis Gale Medical Center.

Zach was born in Roanoke and lived in Eagle Rock all of his life. He was the son Joseph D. Weaver and April D. Giles Weaver. Zach was a welder and enjoyed the outdoors. He liked spending time on the Blue Ridge Parkway and taking photos, playing video games, and listening to music.

Zach is preceded in death by his grandparents: Dorothy A. Giles and Charles Preston Giles Jr., aunts: Crystal Anita Collins, Freda Potter, and Nancy Bartell. He is survived by his parents: Joseph D. Weaver of Daleville and April D. Weaver of Eagle Rock; brother, Stephen Weaver of Daleville; grandparents: Kenneth R. and Elizabeth D. Weaver of Daleville; special uncle and aunt, Carl and Linda Tabor of Mt. Airy, North Carolina.

A gathering to remember Zach will be 2:00 pm Saturday, July 22 at Rader Funeral Home, 630 Roanoke Road Daleville with Ben Peyton officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one prior to the service Saturday.
