Lula "Lou" Lee Hendricks

Lula Lee Hendricks, age 69 of Danville, VA passed away Monday, August 28, 2023 at her residence. Mrs. Hendricks was born August 20, 1954 in Baltimore, MD to the late Edna Lee Gammon Butler Dalton and the late Ralph Butler. She was married to Alan Hendricks.

She was a member of Third Ave Christian Church, she loved dearly her grandchildren and was active in their lives. She was a librarian for the City of Danville, she enjoyed crafting, sewing, shopping, and especially makeup and nails with Kaylee.

In addition to her beloved husband of the residence, she is also survived by her daughter, Jennifer Lynn Hendricks (Perez); three grandchildren, “AJ” Alajah Perez, Kaylee Perez, and Aiden James Perez; one sister, Cynthia B. Gould; and her step-father, James Dalton.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 31, 2023, 2:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Services, Mt. Hermon Chapel with Pastor Debra W. Beard officiating. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. At other times, the family will receive friends and family at the residence.
