Barry Troy Chaney

Barry Troy Chaney, 59, of Ridgeway, Virginia, passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at his residence. He was born April 1, 1964 in Martinsville, to Troy Elwood Chaney and the late Phyllis Ann Price West.He enjoyed cooking, fishing, camping, and eating; and loved riding his motorcycle. He had been a truck driver for 18 years, and attended Mercy Crossing Church.In addition to his father, Barry is survived by his wife, Debra Lynn Collier Chaney; sisters, Lori Flippin and Misty Hylton; nephew, Michael Hylton; nieces, Devan Lowe, Burgundy Morgan, and Emily Watson; great nieces, Ava Carter and Anbrie Lawson; and great nephews, Christian Lowe, Caius Lowe, and Camden Fulcher.The funeral will be Sunday, September 3, 2023, at 3:00 PM, at Wright Funeral Service Chapel, 1425 Greensboro Road, Martinsville, with visitation one hour prior to the service.
