Ellen Marie Catron

Ellen Marie Catron, 59, of Bassett, VA passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at her residence. She was born to the late George Severn and Ellen Severn Prater. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Ray Catron; sisters, Wanda Lawrence, Marry Webb, and Betty Fulcher.

Ellen was a homemaker and attended The Gathering Place Church in Critz, VA.

She is survived by her daughters, Tamara Catron (Thomas Gilman Jr.); Tiffanie Catron (Ronald Clifton); and son, Johnathan Catron (Jessica); sisters, Frances Harding, Charlotte Locke, Nina Lemons (Mike), Micky Brown (Jewett Brown); and a brother, Ray Severn; and 16 grandchildren.

A service will be held at a later date.
