Mary Lynn Rose

Ms. Mary Lynn Rose, age 73 of Mount Airy, passed away on Friday November 17, 2023, at Novant Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. She was born April 2, 1950, in Forsyth County to the late Dennis Cecil Rose and Mary Virginia Collins Rose. She was a professed Christian who loved her Lord and family. Ms. Rose loved to drink her coffee and enjoyed a good book. Ms. Rose also loved to shag dance and flat foot. Left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Amber Rose Spainhour and Catherine Tiffin Spainhour; son, Joel Alexander Rose; grandchildren, Kamya, Alexandra, Brylee, Alex, Ryder, Jacob, Myley, Andrew, and Arabella; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Ms. Rose was preceded in death by her siblings, Donald Craig Rose, Bonita Ann Rose, David Lester Rose, and Grace Denise Carringer. Funeral services will be held on Sunday November 26, 2023, at 3:00PM in the Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy with Pastor Eric Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Zion Hill Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:00 until 3:00PM at the funeral home.
