Douglas Malcolm MacLean, 85, of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, December 9, 2023. Douglas served his country proudly in the United States Navy. He was also a longtime member at North Roanoke Baptist Church.
Douglas is survived by his wife Rita May MacLean; son, Malcolm MacLean; daughter, Donna Dobson and husband Brian; 3 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to The Rescue Misson of Roanoke or the Blue Ridge Womens Center in Douglas's name.
Services will be held Saturday, December 16, 2023 at North Roanoke Baptist Church with Pastor Daniel Palmer officiating. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home Peters Creek Road Chapel. (540)366-0707.
