Janet Ingram Dodd

Janet Ingram Dodd, 66, of Dry Fork, VA passed away at her residence on Saturday, December 16, 2023. Mrs. Dodd was born May 17, 1957, in Danville to the late Clyde Thomas Ingram and the late Mary Atterback Ingram.

Janet was of the Baptist faith. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, James Maynard Dodd; sons, Jamie Dodd, Joey Dodd, and Jeremy Dodd and wife Hollie; grandchildren, Mary Francis Dodd, Madisyn Dodd, Lucas Dodd, Zoie Dodd, Jasmyn Dodd, and Jeremiah Dodd; and sister, Debbie Ingram Bailey.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her grandson, Joshua Dodd; sisters, Gloria Cooper, Bobbie Cassell, and Cindy Hampton.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at Norris Funeral Services, 3995 Franklin Turnpike, Danville, VA 24540, and at other times at the residence.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 21, 2023, at the Dodd Family Cemetery, 600 Silas Dodd Rd, Dry Fork, VA with Rev. Tom Blair officiating.
