Robert Lee NIchols

Robert Lee Nichols, 64, of Roanoke passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, June 3, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Mary Nichols.

Robert's nickname was "24/7" because he was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was the best "Paw Paw" ever.

Surviving are his children, Robert Lee Nichols, Amanda Dooley, and Christy Dooley; grandchildren, Isaiah Marsh, Kierra Dooley, Arianna Marsh, Mackenzie Marsh, and Christian Dooley; sisters, Diane (Benjamin) Gibson, Rosemary Akers, and Elizabeth Nichols (Keith Saunders); brothers, James Nichols and Perry (Karen) Nichols; former wife, Debra Dooley; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home & Crematory.
