Tony Howard Stoltz

Mr. Tony Howard Stoltz, age 67, of Mount Airy passed away Friday, December 29, 2023, at his home. He was born February 3, 1956, in Forsyth County to Glenna Shatley Stoltz and the late James Howard Stoltz. Mr. Stoltz retired from Siemens Westinghouse Corporation after 40 years of service. He was a former volunteer fireman at Triangle Fire Department in Forsyth County. He was an amateur race car driver at Bowman Gray Stadium, and a lifelong NASCAR fan. Mr. Stoltz was a member First Presbyterian Church of Mount Airy, NC. Surviving is his wife of 41 years, Debra Midkiff Stoltz; children, Amy Pait (Matthew), Christopher Stoltz (Maya); grandchildren, Archer Stoltz, Teagan Stoltz, and Cameron Pait; mother, Glenna Shatley Stoltz; sister, Donna Taylor (Joe); brother, Randy Stoltz; niece, Ryann Rierson (Robbie). A memorial service will be held Wednesday, January 3, 2024, 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Dr. Fritz Ritsch officiating. The family will visit with friends at the funeral home on Wednesday one hour prior to the service. A private interment will be held at Oakdale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, PO Box 1286, Mount Airy, NC 27030. Arrangements are entrusted with Moody Funeral Service of Mount Airy.
