Evelyn Mary Hodges

Evelyn Mary Hodges, born October 10, 1940 went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 31, 2023. She was preceded in death by her mother, Reba Bell Cundiff; and sisters, Vivian Eva Hodges and Doris Ann Hodges. She is survived by her loving sisters, Shelby Hodges of Rocky Mount and Kimberly Snowdy of North Carolina; special nieces and nephew, Tina (Rick) Anderson, Taylor Haulsey, and Ryan (Brittany) Haulsey; great niece and nephews, Samantha Brill (Michael), Chris Anderson (Ashley) and Jaxon Haulsey; great-great niece and nephews, Adrianna Brill, Tucker Brill, Cash Anderson, and Colt Anderson; a host of special cousins and their families, her church family, and many friends. She was a faithful servant of the Lord and touched many lives of children and youth throughout the years as a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church. Memorial contributions can be made to Woodlawn Baptist Church designated for children and youth ministries. A Celebration of Life will be held at Flora Funeral Chapel, 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 3, 2024 with Pastor Eddie Hawks and Rev. James Johnson officiating.Interment will follow in the Hodges Family Cemetery. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
