Karen Ann Helms

Karen Ann Rupp Helms, 72, of Ridgeway, VA passed away Friday, January 5, 2024, in

Greensboro, N.C. She was born May 27, 1951, in Waukesha, WI to the late Irving C. Rupp and

Ethel E. Rupp. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandchild, Peyton

Helms.

Karen was a member of Stone Memorial Christian Church.

She is survived by her husband, Sidney Helms; son, Jason Helms (Audrey); daughter, Emily

Watkins (Jason); grandchildren, Bella Helms, Gabby Helms, Lane Hughes, Logan Hughes, Landon

Watkins, and Emma Watkins; brothers, Larry Rupp (Cheryl) and Ken Rupp (Ruth); and two

nieces, Amy and Bonnie.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 14, 2024, at 2:00p.m. at Norris Funeral Services, Martinsville Chapel with Pastor Stanley Wright officiating.
