Margaret MacDiarmid

Margaret Mary Kroboth MacDiarmid, 94, of Spout Spring, died Monday, January 22, 2024. She was the wife of the late John Charles MacDiarmid.
Born in Manhattan, NY, January 15, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Gizella Chinchar Kroboth and Joseph Martin Kroboth. Margaret was a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church.
She is survived by five children, Robert MacDiarmid and wife, Teresa, Carol MacDiarmid Donato, Susan MacDiarmid Kennedy, Laurie MacDiarmid Peters and husband, Gary and Jeanne MacDiarmid Harper; 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph M. Kroboth, Jr.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church with Father Jim Gallagher officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 9 p.m., Friday, January 26, 2024, at Robinson Funeral Home.
