Tracy Scott Nunn

TRACY SCOTT NUNN, 52, of Bland, VA, passed away Monday, January 29, 2024 at his home. He was born February 15, 1971 in Bluefield, WV, the son of the late Argle & Shelby Nunn. 

Tracy was a man who lived in his own mind. He was calm, peaceful, happy and thoughtful. He was a good listener and understanding. He enjoyed music. He loved outdoors. He liked traveling and was always on the go. He liked anything to do with cars and especially enjoyed working on cars. 

Tracy was preceded in death by his grandparents, George Earldrew & Nannie Pearl Mayberry Akers and Henry Paul & Elle May Nunn, his parents, Argle Paul Nunn & Shelby Jean Akers Nunn Mabry, his best friend, James (“Jimmy”) Darrell Clark, Sr., and two special pet companions, his dogs, “Tucker” and “Bear.”

Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Shay-Ann Marie Nunn and her friend, Gene Poole; his brother & sister-in-law, Tim & Barbara Nunn; his sister & brother-in-law, Donna & Mike Underwood; his nieces    and nephews, David Underwood, Michelle Underwood, Pam Nunn, Natalee Hoops, Levi Hoops, Mary Nunn, Autumn Frye, Emily Jackson and Luke Jackson; and his special pet companions, his dog, “Pettie” and his cat, “Zeffi.”

Per his wishes, he will be cremated. A memorial service is planned for Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Wilderness Creek Church of God with Pastor Phillip Buttery officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:30 P.M. until service time, 2:00 P.M.
