Carl Wythe Johnson

Carl Wythe Johnson age 78 of Rocky Mount passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at his home. He was born on August 21, 1945 a son of the late George Doyle Johnson and Etta Frances Sink. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Ovilla Marie Hopkins and Eleanor Akers; and one brother, John Hamilton Johnson.Carl is survived by his siblings, Bayes Johnson (Carol), Leo Johnson (Charlotte), Althea Perdue (Sammy) and G.L. Johnson (Mary Jane); special friends, Donnie Woody and Dan Lynch; his canine companion, Boots Johnson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends.Carl's wishes were to be cremated.
