Tracy J. Barrows

Tracy J Barrows peacefully completed his life Friday, February 9th in Danville, Virginia.

Tracy was born in Takoma Park, Maryland, living most of his life in the state until eventually settling in Virginia. Tracy’s pride and joy was his daughter, Ashly N. Barrows, from Tracy’s previous marriage to Patricia Scott.

Tracy was a caring man who would help you anytime in any way he could, if he had the means. He loved cars, music, drawing, his family and especially his daughter. His family will miss his laugh and crazy stories. Knowing he is no longer struggling brings us peace.

Tracy’s loving parents, Frank P Barrows and Eva E. Barrows (nee Simons), and his beloved brother, Tony L. Barrows, preceded Tracy in death.

Tracy is survived by his siblings Frank P Barrows III, Ronald A Kinchen and their families; Tracy’s daughter, Ashly; and Tracy’s close friend, Stephen Poole.

Tracy’s family thanks TTP Adult Home and Nayar Hospice for their compassionate care during Tracy’s final months.

Final arrangements were made through Norris Funeral Services. A grave-side interment is planned for Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 12:30pm at Fort Lincoln Cemetery in Brentwood, MD. Luncheon will follow with details to be announced. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Tracy’s memory to a charity of your choosing.
