Jerome Keith Wade

Jerome “Booman” Keith Wade, 30, of Bassett, Virginia, passed away Friday, February 16, 2024. He was born May 1, 1993, in Martinsville, Virginia, to Sheila D. Wade and the late James Hagwood.Jerome was a member of Grace Chapel Ministries in Bassett, Virginia and a graduate of Bassett High School. He was a dedicated employee of White’s Metal Works where he was a welder for eight years and was also employed at Coast to Coast. In his free time, he enjoyed music and fitness. Above all he treasured time spent with his family.In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son, Ny’Quise Brooks; his mother, Quetta Brooks; daughters, Ki’Asia Wade, Ka’Mya Wade; their mother, Antoinette Rumley; sisters, Kelsey Roher, LaKeysia Green, Kia James Estes, Cascenio Norman, April James; and brother, Jereme Hagwood.The funeral will be Sunday, February 25, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Benny Redd and Reverend Terry Hairston officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Visitation will be a half hour prior to the service.Wright Funeral Service and Crematory is serving the family.
