Josie Kaye-Marie Hancock

Josie Kay-Marie Hancock, age three months, of Pelham, NC, passed away on May 12, 2024, at Sovah Health, Danville. VA. She was born in Winston Salem, NC on January 27, 2024, to Amanda Pollard and Dexter Hancock.

Josie is survived by sisters, Destynee Pollard, Serenity Riggins, and Harmynee Riggins, and brothers John Riggins, III and Jason Riggins. She is also survived by grandparents Rene and Ronnie Pollard, great-grandmothers, Edith Hancock and Annie Wilkerson, and great-grandparents, Naomi and Jerry Emerson. In addition, she is survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family members.

Josie was predeceased by her grandparents, Tammy and Billy Hancock.

With sorrow, we mourn the loss of our beautiful infant daughter, and with love we celebrate her short life. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at Norris Funeral Services, West End Chapel, 511 Church Ave., Danville, VA at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 17, 2024, officiate by Pastor J. B. Baldridge. A visitation of friends and family will take place one hour prior to the Memorial Service, from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m., also at the West End Chapel of Norris Funeral Services.
