Patsy Parcell Jones

Patsy Parcell Jones, 84, of Martinsville, Va. passed away on Monday, May 27, 2024. She was born in Martinsville, Va. May 31, 1939 to Harry Parcell and Dollie Prillaman Parcell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas W. Jones; sisters, Aileen Price, Norma Jean Prillaman and Marion Yeaman. Patsy is survived by sisters-in-law; Jean Williams and Geneva Bourn, also several nieces and nephews.She was a graduate of Drewry Mason High School class of 1957. She was employed at Dupont for a total of 34 years and retired as a lab technician. She was a member of Carroll Memorial United Methodist Church and she enjoyed reading and working puzzles.A visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at McKee-Stone Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service will follow in the chapel and will be officiated by the Reverend Robert Hardy.
