Larry Arwood Plymale

Larry Arwood Plymale, 76, passed away peacefully at home on June 13, 2024. He was born in Alleghany County, Virginia, on January 13, 1948, to the late Robert Anthony Plymale and Virginia Marilyn Rogers Plymale. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Kathleen Swink; sister, Lois Plymale; his niece, Christy; and great-niece, Amber Adkins.

Larry worked as a machinist most of his life until his retirement in 2013. He was of Baptist faith. Larry enjoyed many outdoor recreations, fishing, hunting, traveling, and more. He was a food-lover and could recommend a restaurant in almost any town.

Larry is survived by the love of his life, Pamela; son-in-law, Tommy Swink; granddaughters, Brandi (Josh) Nuckols and Bailey Swink; three great-grandchildren, Wells, Delaney, and Forrest; sister, Linda King (Bob); nieces, Kim (Clay) Adkins and Paula Sisk; nephew, Paul Sisk; great-nephews, Dustin and Ricky Adkins; great-niece, Tiffany Adkins; special brother-in-law, Don Sisk (Sherry); and many other family members and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 24, 2024, at 2:00 PM, at Wilson & Associates’ Funeral Service. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. A burial will follow immediately at Washington Memorial Park.
