Steven Douglas Cheatwood

Steven Douglas Cheatwood, 71, of Roanoke, passed away, Monday, July 8, 2024. He was preceded in death by a son Greg and a daughter-in-law, Jessica.

Steven enjoyed a successful career as an engineer and made many life long friends along the way.  He was a long time member of Cave Spring Baptist Church and proud to have  graduated from the seminary program at Columbia Bible College.

Surviving is his wife of 31 years, Rhonda; children, Shawn (Joy), Doug (Jamie), Dustin (Kayla), and Dave; grandchildren, Gavin, Dillon and Liam;  parents, Wayne and Doris Cheatwood; and a brother, Mark (Gert); and his beloved dog Molly.

The family would like to offer a very special thank you to the entire team at Good Samaritan Hospice, and to our special family friend, Becky.

A celebration of Steven's life will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 20, 2024 at Cave Spring Baptist Church 4873 Brambleton Avenue Roanoke, VA.  Arrangements by the Electric Road Chapel of Simpson Funeral Home.  540 632 4200
