Eugene Willis Roberts

Eugene Willis Roberts, 78, of Collinsville, Virginia, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2024. He was born June 1, 1946, in Henry County, Virginia, to the late Lonnie Quincy Roberts and Goldie Harris Roberts.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Linda; son, Richard Wayne Roberts; and his sister, Peggy Roberts.Eugene was a dedicated employee of the Comfort Inn in Rocky Mount, Virginia. Eugene enjoyed watching TV and liked guns. He was seen as gruff but had a very soft heart.He is survived by his wife, Eunice Arlene Roberts; son, David Eugene Roberts (Missy); sister, Belvie Holmes (Eddie); daughter in law, Kim Roberts; as well as three grandchildren, Richard, Tiffany, and Ryan.The graveside service will be Thursday, July 25, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Roselawn Burial Park.Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
