Mary Ashley Nunn

Mary Ashley Nunn, age 48 of Danville, Virginia passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2024. Ashley was born July 31, 1975, in Danville, Virginia to Barbara Ann Dalton Nunn and the late Jerry Lee Nunn.

Ashley attended Stokesland Baptist Church in Danville. She worked as a self-employed caregiver. Ashley will always be remembered as a kind and loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to everyone who knew her. Ashley loved Dreamer, her dog, and Simba, her cat.

In addition to her beloved mother of the residence, Ashley is also survived by three sisters, Anna M. Nunn Fulton (Frank, Jr.) of Danville, Ava N. Harris (John) of Rocky Point, NC, and Amy M. Nunn-Flippen (Jimmy, Jr.) of Danville; two brothers, Edward M. Nunn (Janet) of Danville and Christopher A. Nunn (Shelley) of Richmond, VA. In addition, Ashley is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Friday, August 2, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Service, Mt. Hermon Chapel, 3995 Franklin Turnpike, Danville, Virginia with Pastor Stephen White officiating. A burial will follow the service at Highland Burial Park, Danville. A visitation will be held prior to the funeral from 1:00 – 1:45 p.m., also at Norris Funeral Service, Mt. Hermon Chapel. At other times the family will receive friends and family at the residence.
