Linda King Lawson

Linda Cathryn King Lawson, 81, of Rustburg passed away on Monday, August 12, 2024, at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the wife of the late Gerald Dean Lawson.
Born on October 25, 1942, in West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Mack King and Bessie Kelley King. Linda loved birds, especially hummingbirds, which she enjoyed tending to.
She is survived by two children Timothy W. Lawson and wife, Tina, and Wendy L. Lawson both of Rustburg; five grandchildren Samantha Smith, Dannie Lee and wife, Elena, Joey Lawson, Chris Schmitt, and Tyler Lawson; and four great-grandchildren, Quinn Schmitt, Chloe Schmitt, Maylea Smith, Lyssa Palmore.
She was preceded in death by a son, Gerald Eugene Lawson; and 11 brothers and sisters.
A private graveside service in Liberty Cemetery will be held at a later date.
