Laura Alice Anderson Obituary Laura Alice Anderson, 78, of Salem, Va passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2024. Born Sunday, February 3, 1946, in Giles County, Va to the late Haven & Adie Harless.She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Lee Anderson; son, Harvey Anderson; sister, Anne Mae Smith; brothers, Bufford Harless and David Harless. Laura was a selfless soul with a giving heart, who loved her family fiercely. The statement ‘she will be missed' doesn't quite capture the depth of our loss.Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Clifford Anderson, Rebecca Morris (Ronald), Loretta Anderson (Michael Davidson), Laura Dyer (Steve Orange), and Donald Cook (Jessica); her sister, Mary Gayheart (Dennis), and her brother, Billy Harless. In addition, she leaves behind 22 grandchildren, including their husbands and wives; and 35 great-grandchildren, including three due in October; brother-in-law, Walter Anderson (Sandy), Donald Francisco; and her special “Bingo” friend, Betty Sampson. The family is especially thankful to Ronald Morris, Steve Orange, and Jessica Cook, for being a part of the family and assisting wherever and whenever a need was there, and to Deborah, Rachael, and Marcie, from Amedisys Home Health, thank you for making a difference.
