Dianne Ashworth Dove

Dianne Ashworth Dove, born on April 10, 1952, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2024. Dianne was a simple yet vibrant woman who found joy in the little things in life. She had a particular fondness for cleaning, especially vacuuming, and she cherished the thrill of visiting casinos and scratching lottery tickets. One of her greatest pleasures was traveling with her family to explore various casinos in the area. Being surrounded by her loved ones brought her immense happiness, and she always prioritized her family.Dianne is survived by her son, Jeffery Ashworth; her mother, Barbara Mayberry; her sister, Martha Crews; her brother, Tony Hamlett; and her nephew, David Crews, along with his wife, Jennifer. She was preceded in death by her father, Ennis Hamlett, her first husband, Charlie Zehring, and her second husband, Donald Dove.A graveside service will be held in her honor at Spring Hill Cemetery in Lynchburg, Virginia, on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at 11 a.m. Pastor Mike Rosser will be officiating the service.The family extends special appreciation to David and Jennifer for their unwavering support and care for Dianne during her final days. Whitten Timberlake Chapel is assisting the family with the arrangements.Dianne will be dearly missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
