Elizabeth Fitzgerald Fuller

Elizabeth Fitzgerald Fuller, 81, of Martinsville, Virginia passed away Saturday, March 26, 2022, at her home. She was born July 29, 1940, in Pittsylvania County, Virginia to the late Raleigh Fitzgerald and Emma Pettie Fitzgerald. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, gardening, cooking, attending church and spending time with her family. She was a member of Bethel United Church of God where she served on the Missionary Board, Usher Board and Adult Choir.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Fuller; a sister, Nancy Harris; a brother Walter Fitzgerald; two infant brothers; and her granddaughter, Shyrale Carter.

She is survived by a daughter, Betty Jean Hairston; sons, John Lee Carter and Raymond Mack Carter; Sisters, Mae Ola Fitzgerald, Mabel Carter, Martha Fitzgerald and Josephine Fitzgerald; brothers, Jimmy Fitzgerald, Richard Fitzgerald, Tony Fitzgerald; grandchildren, Angela Dixon, Alisha Hairston, Sheneka Hairston, Marquitta Hairston, Raymond Carter, Phillip Carter and Rayonna Greene and a host of great-grandchildren; family and friends.

The funeral will be Saturday, April 2, 2022, starting at 3:30 P. M. at Wright Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will follow at Gravely Family Cemetery. A floating visitation will be Friday, April 1, 2022, from 2:00 P. M. to 5:00 P. M. at Wright Funeral Service Chapel.
