Dora Marie Seay McCrickard

Dora Marie Seay McCrickard, 90, of Martinsville, Virginia passed away Monday, March 28, 2022, at SOVAH Health of Martinsville. She was born December 29, 1931, in Ridgeway, Virginia to the late Tony Stovall Seay and Helen Stanley Seay. She was of the Baptist Faith and had worked for American Furniture and Dupont.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph McCrickard; sons, Steve McCrickard and Gary McCrickard; sisters, Elizabeth Wells, Eunice Gauldin, Gertrude Compton, Frances Hundley and Helen Nelson; brothers, Tony “Link” Seay, Lonza Seay and Edward “Pete” Seay; and grandson, Timmy McCrickard.

She is survived by her daughters, Hilda Conner, Lisa Flint (Jim) and Teresa Bowling (Will); sons, Joey McCrickard (Linda), Jimmy McCrickard (Kathy) and Paul McCrickard (Dawn); sister, Doris Eldridge; grandchildren, Todd McCrickard (Carole), Tracy Barnes (Grayson), Niki Scott (John), Britney McCrickard (Mason), Dylan McCrickard (Savanna), Patrick McCrickard, Chris Flint (Terra), Dustin Flint (Megan), Adam Flint (Jena), Christian Naff (Casey) Gunter Bowling (Erin) Tracie Surber and Matt McCrickard; great grandchildren, Skyler Barnes, Trever Barnes, Kaden Barnes, Lucas McCrickard, Austin McCrickard, Hayden McCrickard, Cayla Johnson, Cameron Johnson, Tyler Scott, Madeline Scott, Lily Marie Scott, Brandon Flint, Karsyn Flint, Tyson Flint, Nolan Naff; and great-great granddaughter, Evelyn Johnson.

A funeral will be held on Friday, April 1, 2022, 2:00 P. M.at Wright Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Ron
Gardner officiating. Entombment will follow at Henry Memorial Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
