Lois Irene Barnes

Lois Irene Barnes, 84, of Axton, passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at her home. She was born on April 1, 1938 in West Virginia to the late Oscar Roberts and the late Ruby Roberts. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Barnes and sister, Zella Stacey.
Lois is survived by her daughters, Charlotte Bryant (Jim), Linda Ferguson (Rocky) and Rhonda Amos; sons, Charles Lively (Susan), Clay Lively (Ann), Victor Lively (Barbara) and Tyler Lively; twenty two grandchildren; twenty four great grandchildren; ten great great grandchildren; brother, David Roberts (Michelle); sisters, Louise Farruggio and Lisa Hurley (Darrell).
The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 pm on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at Bassett Funeral Service Chapel where a funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 pm with Rev. Ray Craiger officiating. Burial will follow the funeral service at Henry Memorial Park.
Due to the governor’s requirements for COVID 19, a face covering is recommended and social distancing should be observed when visiting the funeral home.
