Aaron Christopher McMullen

Aaron Christopher McMullen, 45, of Lynchburg, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2024.

He was born on August 5, 1979, in Lancaster, California.

Aaron proudly served his country as a retired U.S. Marine Corps Staff Sergeant. A man of faith, he was a devoted member of Calvary Chapel and an active part of his church community. Aaron was gifted with his hands, creating and fixing with skill and care. He cherished time spent outdoors, taking road trips, and deep-sea fishing every year on his birthday—a tradition that brought him immense joy. He also enjoyed life’s simple pleasures, including video games and spending time with his loved ones.

Aaron will be remembered for his unwavering faith, love for his family, and his passion for the things that made life meaningful. His presence will be deeply missed.

Aaron is survived by his wife, Marianne M. McMullen; his children, Dillin McMullen (Yvette) and Alyssa McMullen; his brother, Ben McMullen (Angela); his brother-in-law, Brian Collier (Trish); and his cherished grandson, Oliver McMullen.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, January 3, 2025 at Calvary Chapel of Lynchburg, 20722 Timberlake Road, Lynchburg, VA.
