Alfred Lee Talbert

Alfred Lee Talbert, 84, of Dublin Passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at his home. He was born on May 5, 1940, to the late Neal Lee Talbert and Cecil Mabry Talbert. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother: Charlie Talbert.

Alfred, also known as “Dickie” lived an abundant life. His hobbies included, but were certainly not limited to hunting, camping, gospel concerts, and spending time with his family. Professionally, he was known for being a hard and loyal worker, spending 20 years at Long AirDox and Burlington Industries. Additionally, he was also a founding member of the Pulaski County Lifesaving Crew.

Left to cherish his memory is his life partner: Pandoria Ross; children: Ricky Talbert (Megan), Dawn Linkous (Jeff); Step-Children: Trease Dove (Wallace), Cindy Bonegra (Manual), Jimmy Ross (Leslie); Grandchildren: Travis Talbert, Tiffany Kelly; Step-Grandchildren: Timothy Dove, Rayna Couch, Shey Bonagra, Jordan Ross, Chandler Ross; Great-Grandchildren: Haleigh Talbert, Travis Talbert Jr.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at New River Baptist Church in Fairlawn, VA at 1:30 PM. Visitation will be held at the Norris Funeral Home (Formerly Stevens Funeral Home) from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM prior to the service. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, in Dublin, VA.
