Alfred "Louis" McDonald

Alfred “Louis” McDonald, 88, of Ridgeway, Virginia passed away Thursday, January 2, 2025. He was born July 13, 1936, to the late Cecil Douglas McDonald Sr. and Oney Gladys Barker McDonald.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of fifty years, Nancy Jane Minter McDonald; brothers, Cecil Douglas McDonald Jr and James Everette McDonald.Louis proudly served in the United States Air Force for eight years. He was an avid golfer and big sports fan. He enjoyed building things any chance he got. Louis loved his family dearly. Louis loved his dog Max and loved to share jokes and stories to make people laugh.He is survived by his daughter, Karen McDonald Parsons; son, Tim McDonald (Sherri); sister, Janet McDonald Tetterton (William); grandchildren, Christopher Neveu, Zachary Neveu, Cameron Elliott (Austin); two great-grandchildren; and many friends.A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel.Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
