Alfred Moore

Alfred Moore, age 93, passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2025. He was born in Bassett, Virginia, on May 12, 1932, to the late Early Sidney Moore and Jenny Snow Bowling. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Nancy Lee Moore.

Mr. Moore served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a proud veteran. Left to cherish his treasured memories are his son, Alan Moore (Jan Wright); daughter, Janet Mullins; and grandson, Samuel Jeremy Mullins.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Services Martinsville Chapel. The visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Pastor Mike Hatfield officiating the service. Burial will follow the service at Roselawn Burial Park.
